The biggest games of the NFL season are on Sunday Night Football. Every week, you can catch must-see matchups LIVE after the rest of Sunday’s action has concluded. This week, Sunday Night Football takes us to Inglewood, CA where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face the Los Angeles Rams

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Buccaneers (6–4, 1st in NFC South) are coming off a rough two weeks and their schedule isn’t about to get any easier. After back-to-back losses against the Bills and the Patriots, the Bucs will be hungry for a win on Sunday. Interestingly, Tampa Bay has all four NFC West teams on their schedule this season, and they’ve already beaten two of them. The Buccaneers started October with two straight wins against the Seahawks and 49ers. If they beat the Rams this week and the Cardinals next week, they’ll sweep the entire division. That’ll be an extra point of pride in addition to putting them in a good position for the playoffs. Despite the recent slump, quarterback Baker Mayfield saw some marked improvement last week. Yes, they lost to the Bills, but they put up 32 points in that loss. That’s something very few teams can do. They’ll have to keep that pace if they want to keep up with the Rams offense. If he remains healthy, rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka will be crucial to securing the win in L.A. Egbuka has 717 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, and he’ll only get more involved as the Bucs make a push for the playoffs. They’rein for a tough game on Sunday, but this team is full of fighters. They’ll keep things close with the Rams. If Mayfield can pull off the kind of heroics we’ve seen from him in the past, Tampa Bay could absolutely snap their losing streak here.

The Rams (8–2, 1st in NFC West) are now firmly at the top of a very competitive division after they beat the rival Seahawks last week. They’re only one game ahead though, so this game is a must win if they want to stay there. It’snot hard to imagine they will. The Rams have been playing some of the best football in the league, losing only to the defending champion Eagles and the 49ers, who are also contending for the top spot in the West. And they got revenge on the 49ers two weeks ago with a 42–26 rout in San Francisco. Quarterback Matthew Stafford continues to be one of the best in the league at the position. It almost doesn’t matter how solid the opposing coverage is,Stafford can get the ball into his receivers’ hands, often far beyond the sticks. With wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams at his disposal, he’s thrown for 2,557 yards and 27 touchdowns this season. Of those, Adams makes up for 10 while Nacua has four. This is a formidable trio that regularly confounds defenses around the league. This team is a Super Bowl contender, and they’ll have another chance to prove it at home this weekend. Neither team turns the ball over much, so this game will be all about scoring. The offense already has its foot on the gas. If they can keep it there, they’ll have no problem taking down the Bucs on Sunday Night Football.
