Where did Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 film?

Below Deck Med Season 11 is set against the dazzling backdrop of Dubrovnik, Croatia, along the Adriatic Sea. Captain Sandy notes in the trailer that they filmed "a ton of" Game of Thrones there, and at least one crew performance for the charter guests includes the slaying of a dragon.

What can fans expect from Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11?

According to the official announcement for the season, Aesha has her hands full, both with training her "youngest and most competitive stew team yet" and planning her wedding to Scott Dobson

But she's not the only one juggling her professional duties and personal responsibilities. Now a new first-time father, Nathan "must strike a balance between work and home life as his partner, Gael Cameron, and baby Kayden live nearby so he can be with them on nights off after long charters while training new deckhands."

Following previous Season 10 drama, a "growing rift with Joe comes to a shocking conclusion as Nathan struggles to maintain his composure under pressure, and the two deckies' competition threatens to tear apart the entire Med team."

Indeed, the Below Deck Med trailer offers even more clues about the storm brewing between Nathan and Joe. The first look at Season 11 kicks off with Aesha cryptically referring to a "landmine blowing up" between the two, and she appears to be caught in the middle as Captain Sandy expresses her need for the trio, as leaders, to be "what drives our team."

After Sandy aptly observes that "there's something weird" going on between Nathan and Joe, the tension bubbling just below the surface quickly reaches a boiling point. "I'll be open and honest right now. There's a level of f--kin' fakeness," Joe declares, before Nathan, in a separate scene, sternly asks him, "Have you talked s--t to the crew about me or not?"

Amid snippets of more intense moments to come between them, Joe asks, "Are you gonna f--king hit me?" before he's shown crashing out and crying afterward. Joe also appears to have found a secretive new romance, though it's unclear if he's the one who "came on [his] boss's sheets." (In a confessional, Captain Sandy vents, "I wish I would've never heard that.")

Meanwhile, there's a clear generational divide among the yachties as Aesha quips, "I used to be this young, wild stallion. Now, I'm like a wise old horse — like Seabiscuit." Enter the "new generation in the yachting industry," with one newbie declaring, "It's Gen Z's time," amid mentions of "skibidi rizz," a lip tattoo, and being "cooked" after one of them eats a food item that was left inside a random drawer.

Later, Below Deck Med alum Hannah Ferrier makes a surprise cameo — and wastes no time sharing her unfiltered thoughts amid the new cast members' wild antics. "I know I've been out of the scene for a while," she remarks in a confessional. "But, like, these new yachties need to be locked in a zoo and studied."
