Peacock Announces New Original Drama Series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist

Peacock has officially announced a new limited drama series starring Kevin Hart and executive produced by Will Packer. 

What is Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist about? 

Based on the acclaimed true crime podcast, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist tells the infamous story of how an armed robbery during the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but an entire city’s destiny. The series follows the heavyweight fight and criminal underground heist that introduced the world to the city dubbed “the Black Mecca,” and the cop and the hustler at the center of it all. 

While many know Kevin Hart from his comedy (recently, he starred in the Peacock stand-up special Kevin Hart: Reality Check), he has shown he also knows how to get serious as the host of the popular Peacock talk show Hart to Heart, and we’re so excited to see him take on a dramatic role in Fight Night. The new series’ executive producer Will Packer also produced the Peacock Original movie Praise This starring Chlöe Bailey.
